HHH METHODOLOGY / HHH
Authority, provenance and traceability
HHH's editorial method for crediting breeders, selections, lineages and public sources without turning an incomplete attribution into a confirmed fact.
Documented guide · 4 sections

1. We separate the roles
Breeder, collaborator, selector and custodian are different roles. HHH keeps each credit in its documented role and does not attribute the creation of a genetic to someone who only selected or preserved a cut.
2. Four documentation states
Documented indicates an explicit attribution in records preserved by HHH. Catalogued by HHH means breeder and lineage are recorded without claiming complete independent verification. Partially documented retains a caveat. Pending confirmation identifies conflicts, open genealogies or identities that cannot yet be verified.
3. We prioritise first-party sources
When a verifiable breeder website or official account exists, it is linked from the breeder profile and associated genetics. If none exists or it cannot be confirmed, that absence is stated rather than replaced with a similar-looking account. Internal purchase or supplier sources are not published.
4. We correct without erasing uncertainty
A stronger source can update a credit, lineage or documentation status. Until then, terms such as probable, undisclosed or pending are part of the information and must remain visible. The current individual profile is the catalogue's editorial reference.
